NOCN was the first Awarding Organisation and Apprentice Assessment Organisation to be accredited as Leaders in Diversity by the National Centre for Diversity (NCFD). The organisation is now ranked number 30 in the NCFD 2019 Top 100 Diversity Index, which celebrates the UK’s private, public and third sector employers setting the bar for fairness in the workplace.

Following the recent trade mission to South Africa, One Awards has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Funda Trust to act as their education advisor and accreditation partner for a project to be delivered in South Africa to raise educational standards of teachers and teaching in the rural communities and townships.

It is completely free and aimed exclusively at students undertaking QAA-recognised Access to HE courses. It’s an ideal opportunity for students to ask key questions in relation to planning for the future.

The aim of the mission was to build on the North East’s strong relationship with South Africa and to explore the country’s export opportunities.

LEAP – Linking Employment, Achievement and Potential The LEAP programme has been especially designed for Young People across Teesside, aged 16-24. It’s a short 6 week course that provides students with a vocational qualification, work experience and a guaranteed Apprenticeship Interview. Courses run throughout the year with and have a focus on different vocational areas.
