QAA Access to HE annual quality development network event – 19 May 2016

QAA are delighted to invite you to attend this year's annual quality development network event in Birmingham on Thursday 19 May. Full details are on the event booking site.

This year's theme is learning and teaching, analysis and standardisation. You will be encouraged to draw on the presentations on learning, teaching and assessment throughout the day and contribute to discussions and share good practice during themed workshop sessions.

We are pleased to announce Geoff Petty is delivering the keynote. Geoff will focus on teaching methods that are designed to have maximum impact with Access to HE students.

Workshop sessions available include:

  • teaching study and thinking skills in context
  • the use of technology in the delivery of the Access to HE Diploma
  • standardisation
  • the improvement of quality through the smart use of data

(There are some additional sessions too which you might find useful - check these out when booking your place).

We shall also be looking forward to the key developments in the qualification as we build on the successes and celebrations of 2015.

Electronic resources, including the presentations and any workshop materials, will be made available after the event.

Delegates should arrive at the event between 10:00 and 10:30. Refreshments will be available from 10.00. The event is due to end at 16:00. A light lunch is also provided.
