One Awards represents Northern Powerhouse in Hong Kong

One Awards Managing Director, Fabienne Bailey recently visited Hong Kong as part of the Northern Powerhouse trade mission. The Department of International Trade delegation consisted of 12 innovative and forward-thinking businesses in the Education Sector at the recent Learning and Teaching Expo.
Fabienne on behalf of the NOCN Group met with delegates from Hong Kong, China and beyond showcasing the qualifications and accredited units available focussing on productivity, digital skills, vocational training, workforce development and ESOL.
The event was attended by 12,000 delegates over 3 days and provided a great platform for the NOCN Group to find out more about the overseas demand and the potential growth opportunities for the business.
Fabienne Bailey said "This was a fantastic opportunity for the NOCN Group to showcase our products and services as part of the Northern Powerhouse trade mission and I was proud to work alongside the other UK businesses who all had quite unique offerings. Hong Kong has a similar education system to Britain and so many Schools, Colleges and Universities were keen to use the NOCN Group qualifications and accreditation within their establishments. China too is developing its education system and are keen to learn from our UK models around vocational training including apprenticeships. This was a key development opportunity for the Group and our international relations and we look forward to growing these further in the future."
