One Awards joins Northern Powerhouse Trade Mission to ASEAN

In October, Fabienne Bailey, Managing Director of One Awards, was invited by the Northern Powerhouse to participate in an international trade mission to Thailand and Indonesia. As part of NOCN Group, One Awards has been exploring different international markets to identify opportunities for the development of their products and services abroad. As an educational charity, One Awards sees great potential for our bespoke accreditation to support learners to recognise achievement and progress in a range of new environments such as Bangkok and Jakarta where the economy is growing fast but the skills gap is widening.
Fabienne joined 20 other businesses from the North of England looking to expand their businesses in the Far East. Overall, the mission was very successful in engaging with a range of educational partners such as the British Chamber of Commerce, Universities, Learning Skills Partnerships and Private Training companies. Trade partnerships have been developed and we now look forward to supporting these new markets with our vast range of qualifications, apprenticeships, bespoke units of accreditation and our quality mark endorsements.
