NOCN Group delighted to be recognised at NCFD Grand Awards

NOCN was the first Awarding Organisation and Apprentice Assessment Organisation to be accredited as Leaders in Diversity by the National Centre for Diversity (NCFD). The organisation is now ranked number 30 in the NCFD 2019 Top 100 Diversity Index, which celebrates the UK’s private, public and third sector employers setting the bar for fairness in the workplace.
As proud sponsor of NCFD’s Grand Awards evening, members of NOCN Group were delighted to pick up two awards on the evening, one for Small to Medium Business of the year in recognition of the work that the organisation is doing to champion Equality, Diversity and Inclusion for all.

NOCN Group also picked up the award for HR Manager/Director of the year, which was awarded to Group head of HR, Louise Fort.
Louise was thrilled to win HR Manager of the year as recognition of the positive impact her hard work has had on the group’s workforce. Louise has seen the group through acquisitions and has implemented several key policies and processes including FREDIE. This has proved vital to the healthy growth and development of NOCN Group.
Louise Fort, winner of HR Manager of the Year said “The NCFD Awards were an inspirational event showcasing the amazing work and contributions that both individuals and organisations make in the area of equality and diversity. My nomination for HR Director/Manager of the Year Award was a proud achievement for me, and to be shortlisted against a number of peers from across different sectors and nationwide was an even bigger sense of achievement. I was genuinely humbled to hear my name read out as the winner of the award, and truly feel that whilst this is an individual award, the sense of elation and happiness at the win, is felt and shared by the whole organisation and is something we can all benefit from.
We have made great strides in the area of equality and diversity and I look forward to continuing to move us forward and work with colleagues and partners to continue to demonstrate why we are a ‘Leader in Diversity’.”
