'Applying for Work' gains credit rating

Developing employability skills is one of the main initiatives of the Scottish government. One Awards, in partnership with NOCN, are pleased to announce that the following learning programmes have been credit rated by the Scottish Qualifications Authority:
NOCN Applying for Work Learning Programme
The NOCN Applying for Work learning programme at both SCQF Level 3 and SCQF Level 4 has been designed specifically to equip learners with the necessary skills and knowledge they need to understand the purpose of a CV, create a personal CV and to identify suitable job opportunities and complete job applications.
Each learning programme is targeted at individuals who are preparing to enter employment for the first time or are unemployed/unwaged and seeking to improve their employability for a return to work. The learning programme consists of three 1 credit point units that can be adapted to each individual’s personal requirements.
