OCN North East Region recently celebrated 20 years of championing Adult Education in the North East, Cumbria and Scotland at a successful event held at The Sage, Gateshead on the 21st March.
We were honoured to have Professor Graham Henderson CBE DL, Vice Chancellor and Chief Executive of Teesside University, open the event with a wonderful address expressing his commitment to and support for all the work we do in helping to widen adult participation in education in our region.
The event put the learners and educators at the heart of proceedings with 20 individuals and groups receiving awards for outstanding achievements.
