  1. What's the difference between a qualification unit and a bespoke unit?
    • Units contained with NOCN qualifications are approved by Ofqual and therefore nationally recognised.  They can be delivered, achieved and accredited individually.  This makes NOCN qualifications very flexible, because learners will receive their unit accreditation on achievement and can build on that achievement to complete the full qualification over time.

Bespoke units are not contained within a regulated qualification.  They are written to reflect bespoke needs, and are written to the same levels of quality assurance as qualification units, but are not regulated by Ofqual.  Bespoke units can be used in individualised courses where no appropriate qualification is available, or where a bespoke unit is required by the Centre.  They can be delivered alongside qualification units, to enhance the learning experience of the learners.

  2. How much does it cost to create a bespoke unit?
    • £150 per unit.  Please discuss this with your Development Manager or contact us for more information.
