Three members of One Awards staff celebrate long service milestones

Three members of One Awards staff have recently celebrated long service milestones.
Head of Finance and Corporate Resource, Dawn Rush celebrated 20 years’ service this year.
Dawn started her career with Teesside Region Open College Network in May 2002 as Finance Officer and since then Dawn has had a variety of roles as the organisation has evolved from TROCN to OCN North East Region to One Awards.
Dawn said, “It has been an amazing working for TROCN, OCNNER and One Awards for 20 years.I am so proud to be part of an organisation which provides so many opportunities both professionally and personally and I have worked with some fantastic colleagues during this time”.
Two members of the team celebrating 15 years’ service are Anne-Marie Box and Lorraine Tunney,
Anne-Marie and Lorraine both started working at OCN North East Region on the same day in 2007, as Registration and Awards Administrators. They are the first point of contact for centres registration queries, providing excellent support to both centres and learners. They have been invaluable as the organisation changed from OCN North East Region to One Awards and processes have become digitised over recent years. They have both recently been promoted to Quality and Accreditation Officers.
Lorraine said “One Awards is a great organisation to work for, everyone is so friendly. I enjoy supporting the centres and have formed excellent relationships with them over the years.”
Anne-Marie said ”One Awards is like family to me. Everyone offers help whenever it Is needed, always willing to take time out to help a colleague in need, whether it is with work deadlines, customer queries or personal issues. You can always count on One Awards staff to go that extra mile for you. I am very lucky to work with such an amazing team who have been on this journey with me.”
