One Awards Access Validating Agency 25th Anniversary - 2021

2021 is our 25th Anniversary as an Access Validating Agency. Many things have changed over those years but our fundamental mission in championing adult education and our values of inclusivity and supporting our providers, remains the same. Key to all of this is the privilege of continuing to proudly award Access to HE Diplomas to a diverse and deserving adult student population.
Our Access to HE Diploma provision perfectly demonstrates our continued commitment to widening participation in education and providing increased life chances, supporting the socially or educationally disadvantaged to achieve positive social mobility.
To celebrate this milestone we are planning a series of campaigns and events to celebrate the achievements of all those involved in Access to HE which will run throughout the year, including:
Where are you now?
With your help, and through the use of social media platforms, we are seeking to trace students who have successfully completed a One Awards Access to HE Diploma. We are hoping to find out about their further achievements and successes. This could be in education or employment, anything to promote the benefits of studying an Access to HE Diploma and adult education in general.
We have created an online form for former students to complete and this will take no more than 5 minutes: Access to HE Learners; Where are you now?

Access to HE Awards 2021
We will be presenting celebratory awards to recognise engagement, best practice and, not least, achievement within Access to HE. Our Awards will focus on students and the people and organisations that have enabled innovative and life-changing learning to take place. The specific Award categories aim to highlight individuals, Access to HE Providers and Higher Education Institutions who achieve, innovate and strive for excellence in education.
By recognising, rewarding and publicising these endeavours and achievements, One Awards aims to raise awareness of the high quality of Access to Higher Education which has continued to be delivered throughout the last 25 years.

Access to HE Forum 2021 – Friday 11th June 2021
We are pleased to announce details for our 2020 Access to HE Forum
Date: Friday 11th June 2021
Time: 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
Venue: Online (via Microsoft Teams)
The event will focus on current issues affecting Access to Higher Education which we will explore through hearing from a range of key note speakers and by offering a diverse series of workshops (details to follow). We will also be celebrating the achievements of all those involved in Access to HE with our Access to HE Awards of course.
The Access to HE Forum also offers networking opportunities with other Access to HE providers, representatives from Higher Education, moderators and other stakeholders.
