We are pleased to announce that Our Group Director of One Awards, International and Culture Fabienne Bailey has been appointed by the Department for International Trade (DIT) to become one of the Northern Powerhouse's Export Champions.
Achievements of Learners, Tutors and Centres were recognised at our Annual Celebration of Learning Awards 2020. The Awards recognised best practice, originality and not least, achievement within learning, focus on learners, and the people and organisations that have enabled innovative and often life-changing learning to take place in many diverse venues throughout our region and beyond.
One Awards Bespoke Accreditation units can be used to support initiatives such as the Kickstart scheme, Traineeships and can meet the 20% ‘off the job’ activities for apprentices.
One Awards Training is aimed at supporting and inspiring our approved NOCN Group centres. From ‘bite sized’ 2 hour sessions, 1 day accredited courses through to full NOCN qualifications we aim to provide a holistic programme of support. We are pleased to have received such positive feedback from attendees on a range of sessions attended.
2021 is our 25th Anniversary as an Access Validating Agency. Many things have changed over those years but our fundamental mission in championing adult education and our values of inclusivity and supporting our providers, remains the same. Key to all of this is the privilege of continuing to proudly award Access to HE Diplomas to a diverse and deserving adult student population.
